Distance of biking 450 Km. Difficulty Hard. Road condition 85% paved road, 15% dirt road. Features                     Remote area, boat & bike through National park, waterfalls, and primitive tribe villages. Nice Karst (limestone) formations. When to ride              September to Mid December, March to end of April.

Day 1: Hanoi - BacCan - BaBe national park. ~60km (L,D)

Am: We transfer 4hours to BacCan. Afternoon we cycle off highway 3 to a quiet road, great view small village of Tay and Thai on the opposite of the river. Scenery of palm trees with village of Tay and Nung a long the way. O/N guesthouse of BaBe national park.  

Day 2: BaBe national park (B,L,D)

Boat cruise along Nang river, visit Puong cave, and local market near at BanVai. We hike to DauDang waterfalls. Afternoon we cruising back to BaBe lake with a stop to visit Pacngoi village of Tay tribe. O/N guesthouse of BaBe national park.

Day 3: BaBe – CaoBang  ~ 80km (B,L,D)

Morning transfer outside BaBe to HaHieu, then we ride on dirt road 60 km to NguyenBinh. Challenge climb up PhiaDen mt. pass at level of +1,200 m. Picnic lunch en route. Afternoon we cycle on paved road to NguyenBinh, then our van pick us up for tranfer to CaoBang. O/N Thanh Loan hotel.

Day 4: CaoBang  – BanGioc Falls – CaoBang  ~ 120km (B,L,D)

Good paved road ~ 89km all the way to waterfalls. Up and down MaPhuc pass. Scenic beauty of Karst valley, numerous Tay and Nung villages. Late picnic lunch and swim at BanGioc waterfalls – the border falls between Vietnam and China. We have some more km cycling in the afternoon before transfer back to CaoBang. O/N Thanh Loan hotel.    

Day 5: CaoBang – LangSon – MauSon  ~100km (B,L,D)
Morning ride 67km to ThatKhe, passing 3 mountain passed and DongKhe. Lunch break in ThatKhe. Afternoon we take bus shuttle to LangSon and start cycing to MauSon. Challenge of climbing up 14km to MauSon summit at level of +1,540m. Nice sunset on arrival. O/N ChanMay guesthouse.  

Day 6: MauSon – HaNoi.  (B,L,D)

At leisure time to discover the scenery around. Then we cycle down hill to LangSon and on to ChiLang. Visit historical vestige "ChiLang border" where the Vietnamese defeated Chinese troops centuries ago. Then we take bus transfer to Hanoi. Farewell dinner. End of tour.
